So since we got engaged once in awhile I would have this re-occuring nightmare where I was getting married, but NOTHING was prepared. I mean last minute hustle and bustle. Forgetting of the rings, the registry, couldn't book a venue, etc. and in lieu of all that it would be held at a make-shift location / fast-food joint.
I have a feeling these nightmares are going to be more and more frequent...
on the side note, planning of my bachelorette party will begin soon! YAY! FYI we're going to NYC! yay!!! I'm soooooooo excited for it!!!
i need your prayers. i am going through something right now. i can't talk about it on here. just know it's something that has been eating away at me for over 4 months now. it will be over soon, but the frustrations of having to deal with this situation, and several people are causing me to have an unrighteous anger in my heart.
it's been such a hectic past 2 months. I barely had time for myself. i've been on the get-go every day. I'm sleeping less than 5 hours a night, constantly emailing / going to meetings, preparing, praying, working, and trying to squeeze in family time. there is no me time.
i am exhausted. and t-minus 2 days before missions. i am sick & still recovering from sinusitis.
i am burnt out before it even begins. the stress of doing too much. but the rewards are forever.
So here's a freak thing that happened. As I was going to the travel agency in the market yesterday, i hear this angry screaming. this man, caucasian in mid 40's-early 50's, gets out of his mini-van and leaves his door wide open (with cars behind him no-less) ... runs up to a woman in a black car and slams on the driver side window. screaming and berating her in the entire market area. (York St & Byward Market Ave). He screams more, kicks in the front of her car, the driver side door, and her trunk, she speeds away. HE then, tries to catch up to her driving, rolls down his window trying to chase after her and scream at her. I'm standing next to a trubadour and he shouts to him, "dude, you're an f***ing idiot." Angry man stops his van, in the middle of traffic mind you, and screams to him "i know, i know. but at least i'm not standing in some street corner wasting my life and skin." then drives off.
i shot this guy the nastiest look and my jaw was dropped to the ground. i was so appauled at this man i went to call the police and report what i saw. people should not be treated this way... even if they don't check their blind-spots and almost accidentally hit other people. noone should get this type of abuse.
